Added TRX and a personal trainer. What a difference. I am lifting double the weight I was on my own, in only two weeks.

First of all hat's off to everyone out there putting forth the effort to improve their health and eat clean. I am just wondering if anyone can share some tips for breaking a plateau.... I have been following my eat clean diet, logging my meals and working out in the gym full force! Cardio on my off days and I am not losing any weigh nor am I seeing my measurements change....... I have about 15 lbs to lose. Can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Trying not to get discouraged but it's not easy. Might I add that I am over 40 and female and I know this is not in my favor. I train with my husband who seems to be making great gains and I seem to have hit a plateau.... Words of wisdom always welcome.

I am new to this site- just joined today! I have about 45lbs to lose in six months and I wasn't losing despite restricting calories and exercising daily. I have now started with a personal trainer at the gym doing strength training sessions and also doing 2x spinning classes a week and also walk about 45 minutes a day. I really want to know more about how I can change my diet, because so far I have only lost 3lbs and it has taken me six months to lose that! Any advice gratefully received!

My workout routine consists of skipping rope for twenty minutes then doing 10 or a minimum of seven sets of ten rep pushups situps squats and pullups. And this is every other day and in between these days i skip rope for 30 minutes. I've seen good results. But with work and study I've become negligent in working out. But my diet was good....however I noticed I gained weight easily. I don't know I feel like it is complete bull when they say diet is the most important thing. Diet is 70% I dunno it feels like exercise is more important....and am I the only guy on this thing?? lol

I'm starting to actually move my body. Just started EC and working out. Goal is to rotate treadmill and elliptical every other day and rotate upper body and lower body on weight machines, do abs every day-not over doing it except on Wednesday abs and cardio only and rest on Sunday. That's my new plan....very excited about....been to the gym every day since I joined it four days ago...but tomarrow I start an actual routine.

I have been working out to fitness videos. Right now I am using the JNL Fushion dvds. They are awesome. If your short on time like I am these videos are great. Only 30-40 minutes with a mix of strength training and intense cardio. I do these videos six days a week with one day off.
