In my department, we love to eat & snack. Everyone at work knows that I try to eat clean. It's kinda fun now, people bring in treats that are made somewhat "clean". They let me know what's in it. Also, as a nurse, I encourage my patients to incorporate healthy foods to promote healing and stay regular (especially while taking pain medications). My goal this year is to provide literature to patients promoting dietary tips that can facilitate post-operative healing and decrease recovery time. It's amazing how little people know about the healing effects of foods.

Lead by example! Others will want to know what your eating and why. Share how the choices your making has affected your body and how you feel. I've also been recommending The Eat Clean Diet Recharged to everyone. :)

I nag them with a variety of methods. Tell them about pros and cons of ingredients. Tell them to read labels. Pass on wonderful recipes I have, and of course reference The Eat Clean Diet Recharged!!

I remind them how far I've come by making healthier food choices. I also make sure to keep a lot of my Clean foods in the house - I still live at home, so I've got a whole family of three to influence! When their sugary puddings and ice creams get lost behind my sugar snap peas, they eventually start to reach for the peas!

I try to bring healthy snack options to work and have a bit extra. If some one is headed to the vending machine I like to have a spare piece of fruit or raw nuts available so they can have a few of those instead of eating something that will trip them up.
