I LOVE WEIGHT TRAINING!! I do a 5 day weight training split. I usually do 6 days on and give myself Sundays off to enjoy the family. I wouldn't trade lifting weights for anything. If I miss a day I am seriously BUMMED out!! It is a way of life, FOR LIFE!

I do strength training 3x a week using ChaLean Extreme. This program keeps me the leanest, when its time to vary things up I use other programs like P90X to add more definition.

Currently I'm training for my 1st half-marathon so most of my training focusses on running (3 short; 1 long) and x- training (2-3 x) . I'm supposed to strength train 2 x as well but it's been slacking a bit. Will commit to 2 strength sesh this week!

I lift weights 5 days out of my 6-day workout week. Lifting shapes my muscles in a "weigh" cardio never has!

I love weight training! I incorporate a full body weight training workout 3X times a week on alternate days. I change it up every so often, by incorporating a varitety of different work out routines with weights so I am not doing the same routine over and over. As well, I make sure I balance my work out week with lots of cardio too - swimming lengths, spin classes and the Arc Trainer!
