What picks me up after a bad day is getting home to my wonderful husband , who is a great provider and a good cook. My two lab dogs, I take my dogs for a walk daily and then come home and work out with an hour of cardio and lift weights for about an other hour and before bedtime enjoy reading my oxygen magazine.

Looking forward to a good cardio session of spinning and hand weights, to get amped, letting go of all the stress and things we have no control over. And finally having my mocha mango protein smoothie and a really good romance novel, takes it all away.

A good shake (orange juice, blueberries, protein, banana) and training hard. I find while training, all worries of the past day seem smaller and the overall mood changes considerably.

I am an ICU nurse, so often at the end of a long (12 hr) day, I get some of my best workouts done. Seems when I am mad or frustrated I can really dig deep and leave all the stress on the gym floor!

Going on a walk with my Husband and my Husky Emma. It gives us time to talk about the day and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. By the time we get back inside, I feel uplifted from the walk! Oh, and on rainy days, I have a glass of wine (Raspberry Ice Crystal Light mixed with club soda in a wine glass) and chill on the sofa : )- That's what I call my wine!

Hugs and kisses from my beautiful son. I also agree, that a good glass of wine helps too. But, my boy tops the day off with greatness, no matter what else has happened throughout my day.

Riding my bike. Like others have posted, I may think a few minutes out that it's not going to be fun. Then the sights, smells, and feel of my body waking up kicks in and I'm in the moment.! if the weather's not good, my dog welcoming me home is pretty fun.

a perfectly chilled glass of wine, drank while my husband listens patiently as I explain why the universe was out to get me.

I will go for a nice walk with my dog or escape to my creative space - dog usually resting in his bed next to me. : ) or depending upon why it was a bad day, I will play with my kids and just try to laugh and relax.

After a bad day I love getting out for a run. For the first half of it I end it feels so hard and I don't know if I can keep going. By the second half I am flying along with all the energy in the world. I go home feeling energized and on a high. I also know I will have a great night sleep!
