Going through a plateau right now. This question was perfect timing! I've lost 50 lbs so far and 12% bodyfat - but over the last month, the weight has stayed the same. I did lose 1% bodyfat in that month so that's good. For me - I need to push through this time and know that I will get past it.

I have to keep telling myself "The only way out is through" - so I will take some of the advice offered and change up my workouts, look at portion sizes for sure!

I would have to agree with changing it up. Change your workout, if you currently do 4 day splits, change it up to 5 and work the extra day in there to work your "lagging" body part(s). Or even just change the order of your exercises, or if you do 3 sets of 15 reps, trying going a little heavier and doing 3-4 sets of 10. Add supersets (I love these) they help you get things done quicker and if you are non-stop then it will keep your heart rate up. Try to include a day of plyometrics and more explosive exercises. Instead of doing long cardio sessions, inlude some shorter HIIT workouts like sprints - these help build muscle. And like previously mentioned, there are tons of different sources of protein and vegetables and fruit. And last but not least, give yourself a cheat one in a while, not a cheat day, but a small cheat meal (not an appetizer, entree, dessert, AND drink, just one of them). This is something your body is not expecting and will help boost your metabolism.

Really watch your portion size, change up your workouts and drink lots of water.

I've been wondering about this. When I first started (about 14 wks ago) My doctor warned me that I would eventually plateau. She told me I would have to cut more carbs when that happened. I don't know if I totally agree. But I haven't plateaued yet. I've lost 42 lbs....hopefully it's not going to happen soon, I have about 40 more lbs to go...but it is always lingering in the back of my mind.

Change up your diet and your workout. Surprising your body will keep it always guessing which will prevent it from plateauing.
