I've started a blog! It's a great creative outlet for me as I experiment with new recipes and get to talk about all thing "healthy living". I also hope that it becomes a fun resource for anyone that's interested.

The blog has helped me to be more well-rounded eater, too. I've tried new foods, and researched different cooking methods. I'm learning so much!

hi everyone in the northern hemisphere....it's winter here (& pouring rain outside as I type)...my goals over the southern hemisphere winter have been to maintain my 10kg fat loss (5kg muscle gain) through 50% raw, clean eating & 5 x nights a week weights & 3 - 4 x mornings a week runs. I've achieved this. It's my first winter ever where I have not gained weight, but rather lost weight & built muscle.
As spring approaches, my goal will be to be even more vigilant with clean eating & training. I have recently built my T bar weights from 7.5kg to 25kg.
My next goals are:
1. 30kg T bar weights on bar
2. Return to 75% raw eating on my clean eating plan (winter it's been 50%)
3. Get my left bicep vein popping out to match my right bicep vein.

Enjoy your summer everyone!

To reach my summer goal of getting through personal hardships and continuing my ECD journey, I wanted to do something to which I can both continue to lose weight, feed my family clean foods, and honor both Tosca and Bob for touching my life with their Eat Clean Diet and Magazine gifts, so I decided to create my own ECD Summer Cooking Challenge. I am cooking 100 recipes in 90 days from all of Tosca's cook books. To honor Bob, I have ordered his book "Bullsey" and I will start reading it and sharing about it as soon as I receive it. Tosca and Bob are the two people who have helped me through this journey... I love and respect them both so much. Honoring Tosca and paying tribute in memory of Bob is important to me. So, off I go.... Kaptain's ECD Summer Cooking Challenge... 6 recipes down, 94 to go! =)
