Today I signed up for the Canfit Pro, personal trainer course. The course is in February and the test is March. Man now I am nervous.

I have always wanted to be a personal trainer, and it seems that now is the time.

Wish me luck!!

Week 1: Select one of the eating plans and create an exercise plan. Purchase supplies to support decision (have ordered and am awaiting arrival).
Week 2-4: Implement the plans into my daily living. Keep the focus on nourishing my body and let the results come naturally. Enjoy the benefits of reaping what I sow. Imagine how nice it will feel to treat myself with respect and honor.

I joined Team Screw the Scale and I will not weigh myself until March 1st. I had my hubby hide the scale :) I will also do cardio four mornings a week at 5am. I am working on visualizing myself seeing my alarm go off at 5am and getting out of bed instead of hitting snooze. Once I'm out of bed, I'm off and running!

I made the mistake of not having enough variety in my clean eating menu last year. I plan to get off the lazy train and be more creative and take more time to try new recipes. Also, I am going to continue to stay away from alcohol. It sabotaged me last year, by making me crave junk all the time. New year, new goals, and a new me. I've also started setting a timer for when it's time to eat again. Sounds silly, but it works.

I gained weight to put me over 300 pounds 6 years ago while pregnant with my almost 6 year old. Her b-day is 2/14. I would like to see no more 3 at the start of my weight!

I'm working on my squats and deadlifts! I will do 100 squats every time I squat, adding 5 lbs each week. My goal is to squat 155, 12 times. I'm working towards my goal of deadlifting more as well. I will try to beat my 1 RM of 195lbs.I haven't tried to beat it in a couple of months but am positive the next time I pick up 200lbs, I will be able to lock it out. If I can do 3 reps at 185lbs, this shouldn't be a problem. Also trying to reach my bodyfat goal of 15%!

I set a goal in December to see what changes I can make to my body. I'm dying to know what is under those layers of fat on my abs. How thin can my waist be without all of that fat??? How about those love handles banished? My goal this month is to work as hard if not harder than I worked in January. I'm getting closer and I can see results. Go me!!!

I just started training for a half marathon in April so my goal for Feb is to be up to a 5 mile run by the end of the month. Also to be consistent with my strength training and cardio because I would like to lose at least 10 lbs this month and build up my leg strength for the board breaks I need to do for my 2nd degree Black belt testing in March. :)

I've set my sights on our family vacation this June in Key West. I haven't worn shorts in almost 10 years, so this summer, in Key West, I plan to show off my weight loss in new shorts and a new cute swimsuit! I may not be the thinnest chick on the beach, but with a good weight loss and new muscle tone, WHO CARES, it's all about ME!!!

Main goal: keep my sights set on the spring with a great attitude and fervor for keeping my diet clean and workouts intense. February is roughly our last leg of winter here so I need to keep cranking along.
