My "smile" this week came from meeting you Tosca in Langley BC on Wednesday night! It was wonderful to meet you, you're so nice and you took the time to chat with everyone!

My 4 children make me smile everyday. The biggest smile this week happened on Wednesday morning. I was writing an email to my Aunt about some painful events surrounding my Mother. I have grown up feeling detached from my Mother, unloved and worthless. I have in turn buried these feelings, which turned into years of anger, resentment and self sabotage. Even countless hours sitting in therapy I still couldn't grasp that it was my Mother who was (is) sick and not me. Well my break through happened after my Aunt and I visited my Mother in Florida. My eyes were wide open and for the first time in my life, someone who loved me had the courage to validate my feelings. I was not the sick one. I really grew up with a mother who treated me like I was dirty, unlovable and worthless. What a gift to finally realize that OMG I am lovable and have been loved by many people in my life and that more than anything I am worth it! I have let go of believing her words and actions. I am living my life in a way that brings joy and happiness. And in turn I am now able to really love myself which translates to loving others. Really loving others. For the first time in my life I know what love feels like. I haven't stop smiling since.

My big sister came home from traveling in India - she looks beautiful, happy and is full of stories. I'm soo jealous but happy for her. Also my bf and I conquered some pretty big hurdles this week. Despite all of the madness I managed to keep up with Eating Clean and had some awesome workouts... It's only Friday too there is a whole weekend to smile about! :)
