I like to exercise first thing in the morning. I have the most amount of energy and I feel strong and confident the rest of the day. It also sets a tone for making healthy decisions for that day.

The evenings, because after a long days work and all the meal. Its nice to end the day with an aerobic movement and give you energy for the night. With a hot shower to follow and a warm cup of tea who wouldn't go straight to sleep.

My favorite time is around 1 p.m. because the gym is always so quiet. Although, due to my tendency to procrastinate, doing it first thing in the morning is best. :-)

My training takes place with really early or late after work. Currently I'm doing cardio at 5:00am and weight training around 6:00pm. This works best for my family and work.

Definitely in the morning before work, if I have an early meeting I go to the gym even earlier. If I don't the fact I have to work out is in the back of my mind all day as I know that if I am honest with myself there is no way I will do a work out when I get home in the evening. It is pressure on myself that I don't need or want. Colleen

I go either in the morning after breakfast or in the evening around 5pm. My energy levels at both of these times is high and I am able to concentrate on performing an awesome workout. Put your mind into the muscle and you'll be surprised what you get back in return!

I try to go to the gym around 2pm-4pm. But sometimes I end up going in the morning. What ever works as long as I get a workout in.

I like to train at night usually around 6-6:30 this is the time when the family is fed and the dishes are done:) In the morning I'm usually running around too much getting the kids to school etc.then I'm off to work around 10:00am. So it just works for me. And if something comes up my weightroom is in my basement so there are no ecuses about getting to the gym! I always make time even if it's 9PM I'm there! Vicki

My schedule tends to be pretty crazy, so instead of doing my workout all at once, I take workout breaks, all day long. That way, I can take the same amount of time someone else uses for a cigarette or coffee break, and go for a quick jog, do some sets of crunches or push ups, get in some yoga, or what not. Over the course of the day, my workout breaks add up to a decent amount of exercise. I also have weight training class, two days a week. This situation isn't ideal, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! :)

I prefer mornings ...gym is less crowded and I get a killer workout in ...but most of the time after work. My work schedule doesn't usually allow am workouts ....but weekends are AM for certain. I like to power thru my workout with little distractions...Ok well the men doing pull ups in front of the cardio equipment is always nice...HAHA....

I prefer to workout in the morning after the kids are off to school, but I work 12 hour night shifts so some days my morning workouts are pushed to the afternoon after I wake up.

My routine changes, depending on my family's schedules. During the summer, I enjoy working out after work (no sporting or theater events for the kids). During the school year, it's often an early morning workout for me, since post-work, I'm running errands for the family or attending their events. I've learned to be flexible, but to be consistent within that flexibility.

In the perfect world I prefer to work out in the morning and then if I have time left at the end of the day I can throw in some cardio. But, realistically I have 3 days a week that I work out in the mornings and the rest are evening workouts.

I love, love, love to get my cardio in first thing in the morning! Working out on an empty stomach is the best way to start your day burning fat rather than burning all the calories you have eaten that day. And you feel great and accomplished as you start your work day. I like doing my strength training in the evenings. It is important to follow your workout up with a good clean breakfast containing both a protein and complex cards. I often time do a two-part breakfast with a protein shake right after the workout (while I shower and dress) and a bowl of oatmeal about an hour later. :-)

First thing in the morning so that I can attack the day with a positive outlook and mindset. Any other time of the day, I find I'm just trying to sneak it in around other things but first thing, it's my priority. Because my gym is located where I work, I am often tempted to just get into the office and start working but if I head to the gym unshowered and in my gym clothes, I'm already 3/4 of the way there!
