At my job, I ALWAYS have to bring a trail mix of some sort. I pack my clean foods and then a toss in a couple of extra Ziploc baggies of trail mix or some sort of nut combination in my backpack.

Pack Clean Foods that are exciting to eat to reduce the temptation of the vending machine.

I try to shop for lunches on Sunday. I cook protein, and cut up veges so all I have to do each morning is grab a handful each morning as I am organizing my daily meals. If I stay organized, I stay on track - which is good, because I still struggle with making good food choices when I eat out.

I ALWAYS pack my breakfast and lunch the night before or keep it in the fridge, no matter how late it is! This helps in the morning if I am running late, I won't be tempted to just grab something 'easy' or 'unhealthy' and that way I know exactly what I am eating every day.

My lunch is nearly always leftovers from dinner the night before. If there are no leftovers, my fallback is Greek yogurt with protein powder stirred in, topped with fruit. I throw in a ziplock bag of Kashi cereal or some homemade granola and lunch is ready!

I like easy things for lunch, like 2 slices hole wheat bread, 1 tbp natural peanut butter topped with fresh fruit.

I prep and do most of my cooking once a week. I make meals so that I have leftovers to portion out and use at other meals. Breakfast is the only meal I cook daily. I always have something ready to grab on the go.

I try to prep on Sunday for the week, look at what's in the fridge, ensure I have enough vegetables and cans of tuna. I freeze some leftovers, make a crock pot of lentils or stew and freeze that so my choices are easy to make when I pack my cooler for the weeks ahead. Organization and planning are everything!

I do all my food prep one day a week. I clean it, chop it, cook it, and portion it out. then each morning packing my cooler is a snap. From Breakfast to Snack 2, it's all in there. You can see my daily coolers on my website.
