After a long, hard day there is nothing that compares to a bike ride home along the river (45 mins) and a good long soak in my hot tub!

Definitely a good book, a cool night, and a glass of red wine. However, on competition diet, I'm making do with the book, the night and a bowl of protein ice cream. Not a bad tradeoff, all things considered :-)

I walk home from work (approx 3 miles) at a leisurely pace, enjoying the weather and my iPod. Then I have a whey fruit smoothie and head to the gym for a long run.

A nice long walk with my dogs always helps me slow the pace down for the evening. Luckily I am currently living in Alaska so it is daylight all the time.
