Getting motivated was tough at first, and also finding the time with a baby.
The fact that I had to call in an appointment for the gym babysitter made me commit to having to hit the gym that day at a set time. Then I started classes at the gym on top of that. After a while I started to make friends, and they motivated me to go each week. Once I established a routine, commitments, and friendships everything fell into place. Now it's just what I do.... :)

After leaving an unhappy 10 year relationship, I decided to focus on myself. It's been the hardest journey in the world but also the most rewarding! I recently started a blog to keep myself motivated an dI have found it keeps me on track. Check it out if you have any interest in seeing my struggles and triumphs or if you need some motivation! http://www.fromfittoripped.blogspot.com

I know its something I can't and won't do on my own so I have started to force myself to take two classes each semester of some type of workout ballet, jogging, etc.... I may not be passionate about working out but I am obsessed with my gpa and I always want an A so it forces me to move it.

I know I need accountability but I also know I can't only rely on a journal or a partner SO, I became an instructor at my gym. With my name on the schedule, I am committed to being there!

Finding the time! Have a management position at a nonprofit. Absolutely love what I do, but 9-10 hours days 6 days a week are the norm. Husband in construction so alarm goes off early in the AM (4:30!) Actually a good thing because I can get to the gym between 5:30 and 6:00 before work. The day and my motivation are usually shot by 6:00PM, so evening workouts rarely happen. Love working out, always feel better, but sometimes life schedule is just too demanding - and the workout is always the first thing that gets bumped off the to-do list.

Working really hard to change that!
