How "coincidental" to log-in today after weeks ... months really, of straying from my eating clean plan. i had lost something like 9 pounds last go round, but was feeling soooo tired. well, it wasn't my new diet that was bringing me down. I actually had an aneurysm on my splenic artery. after a few months...surgery, and recovery, i am ready to start eating clean again. i found myself organizing and grocery shopping this weekend for the kids' back to school food. i even made them a chart of "what should i eat" to guide them in packing their own lunches this year. when i sat back and reviewed my handywork last night, i thought to myself...wow...all this resembles eating clean! i hadn't forgetten what i'd learned for sure... and was passing it on to my kids. so now that the cupboards and fridge are stocked for back to school, i am going back to eating clean, too. time to break out the cooler and get busy.
