Hello, my goals in april
1. Stick to meal plans eat clean
2. More weights in my workouts
3. Kick the sugar (kinda hard)

The sugar gets me all the time, I admit I'm addicted this will be interesting with Easter. I'd be happy to take suggestions.

My weight goal is to lose 5lbs.

My goals for April:

*Break through this plateau and out of the 160's! I've been hovering in the same 4 lb range for the past 4 weeks...grrr. I plan to accomplish this by amping up my exercise to 6 days per week (I have been sidelined for a few weeks with a mild knee injury) as well as maintaining a food journal, tracking every single bite that I put into my mouth.

*Try some new clean recipes. Since I have this week off, it's a great time to seach through the Tosca's ECD Cookbook, Clean Eating Magazine, Oxygen (I just received my very first magazine in the mail :D), and the KT for some new ideas instead of just going to same, "go-to" meals.

*And lastly, though this may sound strange, I am going to buy a new Easter dess this week! For the past several years, whenever I had gone out to buy a new dress with my girls, I had become so discouraged that I simply had given up trying to find a dress that fit, let alone that looked nice.

Stay strong and go for your goals everyone!

Eating clean for life...

For over 20 years I have wanted to be a runner- for the first time this week I ran for 30 minutes without stopping! I've been eating clean and working out since December and have officially signed up for my first 5K on April 28th. My goal in April is to finish this 5K strong and confident:)

My goal for April is to disconnect myself from unnecessary texts, etc.In the evenings, I find myself becoming consumed by conversations that take up time that I could be using to focus more on my weight loss and contest goals, conversations that can typically be put on hold for a while. Another goal for April is to master the jump rope. I love this for cardio and want to perfect it, per se.

I plan to get back on track for clean eating and low carb living. I am excied to get back on track and add exercise back in to my program. With work and personal committments I have veered off track in a major way. I am pleased to again make this lifestyle a priority for myself. This wil include leaving work by a reasonable time so I can work out each evening.

For many of us April brings Spring Break from the school year. So this is my week off to spend as much time as I want at the gym this week!! Also at the end of this week my family will make their way to Wisconsin Dells and many many challenges for my Eat Clean way of life. I plan on cooking before we leave so I can take the foods I need with me to squash some of the cheating choices. I started the Challenge February 5th and as of yesterday I am down 31.6 pounds and 19.5 inches. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could see these kinds of results by eating great foods. This is my journey!!!!

My goals for April... stop sabotaging the excellent choices I've made from Monday to Friday with the bad choices I've been making on the weekend. Step number one - start a food journal and make myself accountable.

Hello Everyone,

I just registered as a member of the community and am going to the store today to buy my groceries to actually change my lifestyle with ECD.

I have been going to my gym and work with a couple of personal trainers and train with a couple of other girls who are fantastic. I have lost 13 lbs. so far, but I believe ECD will give me the opportunity for variety as far as diet goes.

I believe the month of April will be a huge splash of change and I can't wait to see the difference!

Hello KT'ers and ECD'ers!

There’s an old saying that frequents the lives of successful people: “Actions speak louder then words.” 3 months into my Eat Clean Makeover Challenge journey, these words have encompassed my mind in a repetitive fashion.

Recently, I had to “check in” with my self about my priorities and staying balanced both mentally and physically. April is going to be my “Action” month, where goals will be re-visited and re-prioritized. Earlier in the year, I had implemented a new goal into my ECD journey: To train for, and enter a 5K run to benefit children and adults with Cerebral Palsy in honor and memory of my beautiful daughter. My set-back with pneumonia did exactly that: it set me back from beginning my training! Now I'm back, and I'm making this one of my main priorities for April.

Actions do, and will, speak louder then words for me this month: I am fully recovered from February’s set back of pneumonia, and I have to kick my weight training into 5th gear. My actions will now keep me balanced in all areas of my life, and will keep me Warrior-strong through the month of April.

"Action April" will speak volumes in terms of my dedication and commitment to the Eat Clean Diet and the 4th Annual ECD Makeover Challenge.

Hello everyone! I am just two weeks in on the ECD makeover challenge, but I have been eating clean almost 2 months. I have not lost as much weight over the last 2 weeks, more results have been inches. I know it is a slower process for me at this point as I don't think I have much more weight to lose. I am guessing for my age and height I have about 10 Ibs. to go. My goals for April are to lose at least 3-4 Ibs and of course more inches. I will continue to stick with my work-outs 4-5 days a week. I just finished my vision board yay! I am now working on a journal and getting organized with daily food recordings. I also want to continue reading as much as I can to continue learning eat clean recipies and anything I can to keep me motivated and having a positive attitude!! When I have a bad day I want to have it but not let it have me!!!

I have 3 goals for the month of April as I am still new at this and just starting over (boo!!!). I have a business trip the last full week of April and I am planning to eat clean while there.

1. Start the ECD and stick with it.
2. Lose 10 pounds for the month and not get discouraged when it doesn't happen overnight.
3. Workout at least 4x / week.

HI ALL!
I'm excited to be part of this community. I just want to lose the 5 lbs I gained during the xmas holidays. I just can't seem to lose even 1 lb. I've become addicted to nuts and yams and can't seem to control my intake. I have a major sweet tooth and now I'm satiating it with nuts & yams. I keep a food journal on my phone using the Lose it app, but I still seem to over-eat. I need help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just started the Eat Clean Stripped plan 2 days ago, and hope to lose the 10 lbs within the 28 days! I have a wedding coming up in May and want to fit into a smaller size dress. I have type 1 diabetes, so I find it to be an extra challenge
