I've only just started but have made the effort recently to cut out processed foods, bad fats, etc... and MAN, what a difference in how I feel! No more chronic headaches, bloating and digestion issues. Can't wait to watch the pounds start dropping off!

#1 reason: I wanna prance around my house in short shorts and a tank top and not be embarrassed about my body and
#2 -the big reason, my little girl, I have struggled with my weight all my life and i never want my little girl to have to go through that. I want to show her how to eat right, be active and love yourself!

I'm not following a diet. I'm living a lifestyle. And I will NEVER, NEVER go back.

I just started to eat like this last week and I HAVE ALREADY LOST 3 LBS. Now while the number on the scale is a motivation I have to tell you that I feel less worthless and lazy with every bite of healthy food take. Junk food really makes you feel like junk. You really are what you eat. I have had my fill of sugar for a lifetime and I really don't need anymore. Thank Good for this website, it is such a reassuring feeling knowing that there are other people who are in the same boat with me and are here to support me. I'm glad I found this page too where I can just let it all out and just talk to people who really understand. The thin me is inside and dying to get out. I have no Idea who this overweight unhealthy chick is but she's gone. 3lbs down 57 to go

how good the food taste and how often I can eat it! Realizing that food is the answer, not the enemy has revolutionized my life!

My daughter! First, I want to be a good role model for her, of someone who prioritizes health and wellness. Second, I want to be around for a good long time! My mother passed away when I was only 10 years old. I will take every opportunity I can to prevent that happening to my daughter.

Having once weighing nearly 200lbs throughout high school and always admiring the women in Oxygen magazine (with a desire to achieve their hard-earned body); I made the commitment by entering in my first NPC show in October of 2007. Although I didn't place nearly as high as I was wanting; I began to truly understand as to how much my daily food choices played into how I looked and, more importantly, how I felt!
Now, I keep a daily journal. Not only to track what I eat and my training, but how I feel inside and out. This allows me to re-evaluate where I am currently at, and what my long term goals are.
Then, when I feel as if it would be easier to just give in to temptations, I allow myself a little indulgence once a week; usually it is a frozen yogurt (they are my favorite). I then reflect back to when I was at my heaviest, our how I feel the morning after indulging TOO much.
I have also seen how my living a healthier lifestyle has affected the women of all ages I come into contact with. They are amazed as to how the SMALLEST of changes yield the BIGGEST results. Making it much easier for them to incorporate into their daily lives.
AND ALL THIS IS THANKS TO WHAT OXYGEN & CLEAN EATING MAGAZINE DELIVERS ON A MONTHLY BASIS!! THANK YOU!!!

Sincerely,
Michelle (Bazen) Wilson

I go off-plan sometimes but I've never want to quit. Throughout this journey I've learned so much about the public food supply that I'd never go back to eating like I used to. When I do have an off-plan meal, if it is supoer high fat and chemical laden, it takes me two days of clean eating and guzzling water to feel like myself again! This is just how I eat now.
