I go to the gym by myself. Very self motivated to loose 20 lbs. No need for anyone to be a chatty cathy and distract me from my goal.

I work out by myself. I used to work out with my husband, but haven't for a long time. I enjoyed that, but I have no problem pushing myself and setting goals. I don't have to worry about someone not showing up, being late, or having a different schedule than mine. I would enjoy communicating with someone about my workouts and hers/his (say on this web site), but I don't need for the person to be physically there with me to get an awesome workout.

Alone at the ship gym. When I'm in my zone it feels good! There really isn't anyone on board that wants to go to the gym as early as I do (6am) or as committed as me 5-6 days. If I don't make it to the gym I feel guilty on my own.
I work on a ship so I find that to be my time, not have to worry about staff, guest and the office.

When I used to go to the gym, I went by myself. Now I train at the Karate dojo with friends. There are benefits to both for me. Sometimes when I am training I like to zone out with my music and really push myself. Training with friends however adds a bit of guilt if you have to miss. If I can't go because I have a sick kid, I will train at home but I still feel guilty that I am not there with my friends. I jog or walk every day because my dog needs it, he is a very good motivator.

By myself. I find it's easier for me to complete my workout and I don't have to be on someone else's time.

Just me! None of my friends are as into the vigorous workouts as I am...love training with a guy every once in a while though...the extra push is great!!

I prefer to go to the gym by myself, because I think everyone is at a different level and I wouldn't want to hold someone back or be held back waiting on someone else.

I have not found a work out partner who is consistent (I am still looking) so I have added in group work out sessions three times a week. The group work outs help push me and change up my routine.

I workout with my husband. We do seperate workouts, but encourage and spot each other when needed. It's great because we make it a priority, so it's a hour where no one can interrupt our time. I love it!

I mostly go by myself. I push harder when I am on my own. But, I do plan on going with my daughter this summer when she is home from college. We are a good team.

I do both! I go with my partner in crime...sister in law....we love working out...and Of course I go by myself because I need to workout to stay or get in shape...I am lucky that motivation is not a problem for me......

Usually by myself because I do not have friends that are as dedicated. But I have seemed to muster up some followers here and there. So I will on occasion have friends that want to tag along and learn a thing or two about how I get fit! Well and my husband ALWAYS goes but we do not always workout together I do not like how he pairs his muscle groups. He also never gives leg day the attention it needs :)

Currently, I work out with my son and daughter. I have just recently though decided I would like to work out alone. I feel I need that "me time"....

By myself. I wish I did know someone who was really into weights as I am but I don't know anyone. I do have a few guys at the gym that I workout with from time to time and it's a great push.

Every Sunday morning I go to the gym with a few girlfriends. We do a weight lifting class for an hour and then a body combat class for cardio. I enjoy it because my one girlfriend is just getting into fitness and healthy eating and it makes me feel good to be the one who motivates her to do it. Girl Power!!

By myself. My loving husband stays home with the children so I can get there at 5:30 am. I do see regulars there who I love to visit with while I run (well in between).

I go to the gym with a devoted partner. She is up with me several times a week at 5:15 am, and then evenings too. We keep each other motivated both having the same goals. I am so lucky to have her as a partner because I see the difference when we aren't together, on vacation or not able to go. I know I have to be up early and feel accountable. Our partnerships works out great and have been working out together for about 4 years now. Love it!

I usually go to the gym by myself and do my own workouts. That's most likely because when I am at the gym at 5 and 5:30 AM, most of my friends are still sleeping, :-P
