We do eat a lot of venison in the fall. We eat a lot of deer chili and I like to eat mine by layering my bowl with brown rice (instead of white), fresh chopped spinach and then the chili. I get my protein, my carbs and my veggies all in one bowl!

no thank you. no red meat, no pork... i can barely do fish and organic chicken... borderline vegetarian here.. I keep thinking about a quote i read "animals are my friends, i don't eat my friends"
but.... i respect it is a personal choice... i only ask, that we know where our meat is coming from and how that animal was treated

I husband loves to hunt and we always have a freezer full of elk, deer and occasionally moose. I really loved to see Tosca's recipes for wild meat since I am not the best at preparing it.

Since choosing to Eat Clean, I have searched for alternative meats such as Bison and Venison, however even my Whole Foods doesn't carry it. BOO! :-( I have found "Bison Burgers" but that's it. Any tips?
