Staying hydrated and physically fit are always essential to staying cool on hot summer days, but my favorite way is snacking on cool fruits and veggies. I love snacking on chilled and juicy cherry tomatoes, orange wedges, peaches, cucmbers, or even bananas to name a few. Slowly enjoying that cool fresh taste bathing my taste buds is like feeling a cool breeze sailing across my sweating face under a burning sun. It causes me to suddenly stop everything and breathe in the relaxing refreshment it gives me. Fresh, chilled and juicy, wholesome snacks can instantly put me into a mini vacation frame of mind. How enjoyable! (just don't stay "on vacation" too long, lol).
