Does a 2 1/2 hour nap count as me time? We just got home from a week away for a funeral and my daughters birthday. We unloaded the car and took a nap!

I am taking major me time, yesterday and today. Not sure why, but once I get to about noon it's all I can do to stay awake. So, I am listening to my body by resting and using the time to map out my new training and food plan.

Me time? I have never had me time, but am trying to learn to relax and take it. My "I guess" me time has been spent searching this web site and praying that God will help me get going on this lifestyle change. I have been trying to get started for 2 weeks now.

My me time is tending to my flowers first thing in the morning and having breakfast on the patio. This always soothes me and prepares me for the day.

"Me time" would be important to me every day no matter how long or how short it is. It's the only time when I can sit down and perhaps read a book to unwind for the day. My other important "me time " that I definitely put a side for myself would be my scheduled workout days and times. That is something I would not miss unless of course there is a family emergency to attend to!! :D
