I take a notebook of all my workouts, past and current. That way I can keep track of what I am doing and refer back when I need to.

Polar heart-rate monitor... I love it!! It's a great tool to keep me on track with my goals. :-) It's also a useful tool to help me control my asthma... I know when I approach a specific number on that screen that I'm flirting with danger. I've also learned to control my breathing, in turn controlling my heart rate to head off an asthma attack, and watching the numbers on the heart-rate monitor go down as I exercise that breath control always brings me a sense of accomplishment.

My Bodymedia armband and wrist-watch. It tells me my cals burned and steps taken while I am working out and I can log my food as well. Definitely keeps me accountable for everything I do. Totally awesome!

I don't have anything like that but I keep a watch when it comes to how hard I'm working by how my muscles are feeling as I work them - I really make them burn and it makes me want to push them even further!
