What have you done to relax and unwind lately?

I went riding on my horse in the woods today, it was so peaceful and yet we could workout together too!

I ride my Road Bike for 20 miles and then I take a long bubble bath and read what ever book I am into at that time. This feels like heaven to me.

To relax and unwind...this is the weirdest thing...I brew a cup of tea and lay in my bed witht the channel on Investigation Discovery. My door is shut and no one interrupts me. Other times, I just hop in the car and head over to Target to check ou tthe new sports gear. I look at the items I will get when I accomplish another goal. Right now, my most recent relaxation strat is running in teh park, it gives me the energy to perform tasks at home and provides me with a comfortable night sleep.

Relax and unwind... funny you should ask because I literally wind myself up. Aerial yoga is the perfect escape. Winding and twist around hanging silks does wonders to release tension. If you love unique fitness classes I recommend trying aerial yoga - you won't even notice that you are exercising!

Sundays are my chill out day and if Im not working (shift work) then its another bonus. I love having a nice long bath and then plan my meals for the next few days, usually going through my eat clean books or online. You cant beat having one whole day to try and chill out and relax, its so beneficial for the upcoming week.

Thinking back over my week I realise I haven't done anything to relax & unwind, it's been work, study, train, eat, sleep & that's it. Tonight I'm going to paint my toenails :) I'm planning on an early night in my flanelette pjs with my book to relax.

To relax and unwind, I curl up on my comfy couch in my Zen room with a nice cup of green tea and pull out one of my MANY Eat Clean books. I look at my framed picture of Tosca and myself and smile. My daughter cuddles up beside me and we talk about the days events and she asks me if I worked out today (she is only 9 years old, and she is my personal coach!). Life is good! Thank you Tosca!
