I have just started reading up on this and it makes sense. I am inspired by all the stories I have read and I am ready to take the next step. I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life by 30lbs give or take. I loose the weight then I go back to the same old habits. I know this is a lifestyle change and I am looking forward to embracing it.

Hi People, My Mum passed away last year and my self and my kids were devastated, she was like the other parent to my my children as I've been a single parent with a full time career she was there to help me with my beautiful kids and live literall 2 mins dound the corner. So trying to deal with my own grief and be strong for my son and daughter was so tough I fell apart for a couple of months. I'm usually up beat, full of energy and exercised all life regularly but I comfort ate and was so tired all the time when I got in that my usual exercise regime went out the window. So a year and 6 months on I've turned a corner and now I'm trying to fin the time for exercise and want to ehance that with a diet that can make me feel energised and healthy again. I'm not a believer in diets and faddy diets especially,I believe eating healthy and little bit of what you fancy now and then is the best diet and hsa worked for me and my family to be healthy and happy. Having comfort ate for my empty grief feelings and done next to know exercise for nearly a year though has definitely not been great. Also for a lady in her early forties (I'm told I look young I definitely act it. Lol.) I want to feel and look my usally vibrant shiney self. So please can you advise me on how I corporate The Clean diet into my really busy life. Thank you.

I've gained a strong healthy body, a sense of accomplishment and pride. I also have more fun and enjoy the outdoors more and do things I never thought I would or could do.

What I have gained by losing weight and getting healthy? I have gained my life back, my confidence, my passion for life. I gained a baby that I was never supposed to be able to have. I also have gained a new respect for the people you make their health a priority. They are no longer intimidating, infact I find most can be informative in some way or another if you are just willing to listen!

Since college many years ago, I have yo-yo'd with my eating. Participating in the 4th ECD challenge has given me the motivation to become healthy, confident and happy with myself. Becoming happy with myself has allowed my relationships with others to become even better. I have found a new me!

I have dreamed of looking like the girls in Oxygen but never thought I could attain the look. Now I know I can! My eye is on the prize and I have contacted someone to help me finish the journey that I have started and start a new chapter in my life. What's the saying: "You don't get older, you just get better". Thank you Tosca and the eat clean diet team/community for giving me the tools I needed to reach my goals.

I also want to thank Robert Kennedy for his tough love. I miss reading his column in Oxygen magazine but, I know he is looking down on us and continuing to encourage us. God Bless.

I've never dieted before. The eat clean diet was not only logical but I knew it was real. You are what you eat. I am so much more aware of what I put into my body. From this diet, I will continue to research and feed my body the whole nutrients it needs. I was only given one body and eating clean has allowed my to appreciate it even more.

I only registered today but I plan to gain the knowledge I need to lose the weight that's been plaguing me. I'm borderline hypothyroid so losing has been a struggle despite the fact that I'm a fairly fit (if 50 yr old) dancer (Latin). I'm hoping this will work where umpteen other diets have failed. I've read many many entries by you all. Well done those who have succeeded and kudos to those still on their way. I'm happy to be part of the community. For those interested - I'll post my success milestones.

After losing 140lbs I've found myself again! I've not only found my confidence again but I have realized I have the ability to help inspire others to make healthy changes too!

I've realized I am actually am capable of anything I put my mind to and I have a new respect for how forgiving my body has been after years of abusing it...I thank it everyday!

Next on my to do list..a competition next year!

I can honestly say that I have gain a HUGE amount of respect for myself and my body. Everyday that I look at myself in the mirror it motivates me to try even harder the next day to do even better then what I had already done the day previous.

I have gain the courage to do things that I have never done before. To put myself "out there" to be judged by others and to welcome their critique.

I have a new wealth of knowledge that I love to share with others. I have become a "fitspiration" to both my friends and strangers. And even a mentor to others.

Unfortunately, I have also gained a new financial debt.! With the cost of gym memberships, personal trainers, supplements, new clothing, competition fees and related show items I have had to take on a additional part time job ON TOP of my full time job in order to afford it :( Combine that with being a wife and loving mother of 2 sport minded children under the age of 10, I am surprised some days as to WHAT I can manage to do in a 24 hr period!!

But as someone once told me...if you WANT something bad enough you will ALWAYS find a way to make it happen!! And THAT in itself is the BIGGEST strength that I have GAINED in this process!! XO

I have gained a deep appreciation for my body. Even though I haven't lost all the weight I want to, the changes I see my body going through, the strength and energy it gives me through the day, the physical activities I tackle now that I never had any desire to look at before, all make me appreciate it.
Eating clean has also broken me from my nearly crippling addiction to caffeine [mostly in the form of several diet sodas a day] so I sleep better, wake refreshed and ready to tackle the day.
I have reached the point where my desire for unhealthy foods is seriously waning because when I've indulged, my body just feels lousy, any guilt aside! I can't do the things I like to do as well. So I am obeying my body and giving it the things it tells me I really want: clean, healthy, delicious and nutrient-loaded food that helps it help me!

What haven't I gained! Confidence, better health, motivation to go even farther in my fitness journey, a love of new foods, muscular and mental strength, and the list goes on.
I have greater awareness of my body and have gained so much knowledge about food synergy, clean eating and other principles.

Oh My! Yes!!! What I've gained by Eating Clean, reading Tosca's books and being a part of the Eat-Clean Diet community:

Being healthier - evidence in my blood work, BP readings, weight check-ins at the DR.

Feeling so much more positive about life, myself, etc and encouraging others to explore and try it out in their lives.

Sharing with my 84 year old mother, my 20 year old daughter

Moving forward towards my fitness goals and I know they are completely achievable! Committing myself to the life I enjoy by becoming healthy, fit, and meeting others with similar interests
