2010 taught me a lot of hard lessons. I unfortunately gave up eating clean two and half years ago after eating clean for 6 years. My body has sure let me know what eating unclean foods can do to a person's body. In the two and half years of not eating clean, I have gained over 120 pounds. 2011 is back to eating clean and never stopping. I learned that eating clean is a lifestyle not a diet.

I am brand new to the site - just joined today, and also brand new to the "Clean Eating" family. I received the Eat Clean Diet Recharged book as a Christmas present and the person that gave it to me said, "I have heard you say you want to do something about yourself - maybe this will help." What I have learned is I am the only one that can change me. I am looking forward to challenging myself and getting in better health.

I learned that I must make time for myself. That the house isn't going to fall apart if I don't clean it as often and saying NO to a volunteer request doesn't make me a bad person.
Using that time for a workout is time better spent because it makes me a healthy happier person. I learned to eat better this year and by doing so lost 45 lbs, discontinued blood pressure meds, and am no longer pre-diabetic.
Thank you, Tosca for providing the learning tools.

I'm new to the Eat Clean site - I just signed up in fact. What I've learned this year that is probably going to be the most important thing for me and my family; is about eating clean. We have struggled greatly with health and weight issues and I do think this is were they are going to stop. I look forward to reviewing 2011, with a new outlook, a new healthier life and body.

Thank you for being here. I'm ready...we're ready for a new beginning.

This year I was introduced to eating clean through Oxygen Magazine. I immediately bought all of Tosca's books. My goal is to convert to a clean eating lifestyle. We were doing well until we moved and then became subject to quick unhealthy meals on the go. Now we are all settled and back to working toward this goal. My children (8 and 10) are already being emerged and doing well with it. When they come home proud of their eating choices, I am also proud. We are in the process of converting our kitchen to be "clean". Our goal is 2011 to be 100% clean, no more back and forth.

This year I learned that I want and deserve to be as beautiful as I once was, that the person I feel inside is ready to stand up and become the reflection I see in the mirror every day!
