When I finally felt committed to getting into shape and working towards losing a good 90 lbs...I asked my buddy, who's a very fit triathlete, to help me with my eating regiment and "kick my butt" with advice and goal-setting for a healthier lifestyle. She loaned me the book and helped me get into a routine of clean eating. I learned what to stock up on at the grocery store and how to eat smarter. I journaled my food and activity every day - which helped keep me in check - and LOVED how much better I felt.
Eight months ago, when I started, I weighed in at 234lbs. I'm now down to 194lbs! I've been watching the pounds come off - and really don't feel like I'm sacrificing or working that hard to get it done. After that last trip to the scale - I'm impsired to push to train a little harder, eat even cleaner and really focus on my nutrition (carbs/protein/fats)...and work towards the goal of entering a triathalon in another 8 months....after I lose about 40 more!!!

Not as of yet, did my measurements, but need hubby to take my pictures, should be an eye opener! Not overweight, just over-fat. Exercise is not my problem, never has been, it the 80% nutrition.

Great morning at the gym!! Leg day and......a day without squats is a day without sunshine!!!

Not yet but I am going to read all of the rules and make sure it is something I qualify for before signing up...I am new to the Eat-Clean Diet (I prefer lifestyle, instead of diet) but think this is the most logical program I have ever heard about...and that makes me VERY EXCITED!!!!

Definitely! I am very excited to be on this journey with all of you.

Success is not the destination, but in the journey itself.

I did! I was nervous at first, but what motivation it gives me to get up and exercise in the morning! Even if I am not the winner, I'm going to be so much better off in a year's time! I've been eating clean for a few weeks now and I can't get over how much better I feel physically! I've converted a few friends already too.

I have!!! My biggest goal is to get control of my 'Sugar' addiction. On Sundays I have started planning out my week of eating clean and getting my workouts in each day. I actually made my grocery list out Sunday night and sent my husband out to get our clean eating foods. I think the more your family is involved the better of meeting goals.

I have it in ME to get it off ME!!!

Yes I have! I ahve been mostly eating clean since May 1, 2010. but I have struggled with staying on plan and totally cutting out the sugar. My husband and I joined the Challenge at the beginning of September, and I hope this will help me stay on track and keep myself acountable.

Today I begin my journey of cutting out all sugar (except fruit). I believe in myself and I will accomplish this goal. I think if I can totally cut it out for two weeks that will be enough to get me over the worst of my sugar addiction. Then I can go form there and maybe add in agave and honey.

I am trying to begin adding exercise, journaling and the Eat-Clean Diet to my daily routine. It will be according to my work schedule as to what I will be able to accomplish each day, but I have a plan and put it in writing. I am ready to start TODAY!

Yes, I have & yes, I can!! I feel like I need to take control to be healthy and create the body that I desire. I am trying to take it one day at a time to make the changes to create the clean eating lifestyle. I am ecstatic about what the future of me will hold!!

Today is the day. I have had one foot in and one foot out for too long. I know I feel great when I eat right and exercise every day... so why do I stop? Why do I let convenience or laziness win?

No more. Today I am committed!
