Yes, it is great and just a little makes so much, I may start to make it to have for breakfast in place of cold cereal with I am no longer a fan of.

Yes, all the time! It has such a different texture, stronger flavour and more protein than brown rice so it's great to switch it up. I often sprinkle cumin, paprika, ginger, cinnamon and coriander on it...and maybe cayenne pepper if i'm feeling a kick!

I use it all the time in place of rice or as a cold salad with cucumber, tomato, red onion, basil, olives and an oil and vinegar dressing.

This winter I added it to my soups instead of noodles, and this week I'll be making up the lentil and quinoa recipe I saw in oxygen mag...can't wait to try it!

I use quinoa weekly! I love it! One of my favorite Quinoa dishes is a recipe from
Consumer Reports Food & Fitness Magazine (the premier edition, Pg. 56). It's Asian-Style Quinoa Salad with Chili-Orange Dressing. I made it and fell in love! They call for you to eat it cold, but I heat mine up. Oh so yummy!

We love it as a greek salad. We use olive oil herbs and garlic or a purchased clean greek or italian dresssing then add whatever veggies you like. I use roasted onion, asparagus, zucchini, summer squash, eggplant, fresh tomatoes kalamata olives and feta cheese. It is great with grilled chicken, fish or on its own. It is also something that I can take to gatherings.

Hi aranglin,
Most grocery stores have Quinoa either in the grains/rice section or where they have beans. Ask a clerk next time you're at your local grocery store, they will definitely know! Hope that helps!

And my favorite way to have Quinoa is as lemony as possible! I love the scallops & quinoa recipe from the Eat-Clean Diet® Recharged!

I have been to 2-3 different stores and cannot seem to find any quinoa. What aisle or section of the grocery store can I find this? Help me please.

I never have cooked with quinoa. I know it is a complete protein. Someday I will make a meal with it. However, I've had some homemade soup with quinoa and it was delicious. It is a werid looking grain.

This is a new tool in my "eating clean" arsenal. I use it in any dish that requires couscous. I'm finding a lot of new ways online to use it. Last night on Iron Chef, it was used in a dessert and the judges loved it. After reading the FB posts, I've just discovered even more ways to enjoy this wonderful grain.

I absolutely love it-- and so does my rice-loathing husband! *lol* I use in instead of pasta and rice all the time. one of our favorite recipes is to make it with low-sodium fat free chicken broth, garlic and sundried tomatoes (like the quintessential quinoa recipe in the ECD) and then serve it with Curtis Stone's healthy chicken cacciatore (from the Biggest Loser website). Yum!!!

Yes, I have. I made 2 Clean Eating recipes with it. One had the quinoa as a substitute for rice and the other was the minestrone soup on the front cover of Clean Eating Jan/Feb 2010. The quinoa was fine. I did not like or dislike it... In the soup it was not even noticeable. Because of it's health value, I will continue to use it in recipes.

I love quinoa! I've used it as a hot breakfast cereal and I've used it in stuffed peppers. It's a great alternative to rice and offers a nice texture. :)

I have, as a side dish. My husband and I both liked it. Made it with toasted pine nuts. I have a collection of quinoa recipes I want to try out

Quinoa is an amazing little seed that I have made both sweet with dried fruit and savory with roasted vegetables. I pretty much use it just like rice! LOVE it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE quinoa! My very favorite 'grain'. It is so yummy, versatile, easy to make and has the best 'texture'. So worth trying! Just remember to rinse it before you cook it so it won't be bitter.

Yes, a couple of times. I can't say I liked it. I tried the sweeter version with grape juice as well... that was a disaster. The recipes are kind of inconsistant. Some say to soak it, or rinse it, some say nothing about that. and how do you rinse it? It was very confusing. So I have it in my frige waiting for my next brave try at it. Looking forward to someones help with this mighty superfood! ;^)
