I started eating clean after an injury threatened to stop my weight loss journey. Cleaning up my food-lifestyle allowed me to lose more in the following weeks, than I'd lost prior to the injury! That was 4 years ago! I hit goal weight in October 2008, and have maintained it ever since. Eating clean works!

I have been following the program since around Jan 5/11 and to date have lost 7 lbs and 7 1/4 inches. I had been on a weight loss program prior to finding EC so my total weight loss is now at exactly 50 lbs. and around 41 inches. Need to step it up because I'd like to lose another 15 lbs. by June and I haven't been 100% eating clean. I want to see what I can accomplish by fully engaging in the EC lifestyle.

I have a question; can you substitute a soy burger (morningstar chicken patties or boca burgers) for a lean protein??

I've been following the ECD since 2-15-11. I'm not hungry, or moody anymore. I don't crash in the afternoon. My skin isn't pachyderm-dry any longer! I feel confident. I feel like I have it figured out. That is priceless!

I started in the normal wieght range for my height, but I still lost 7 pounds without dieting. Thanks, Tosca!

I have been eating clean-ish (due to complicated circumstances, we have to use the food bank, right now, so can't eat 100% clean) for the past 3 months. I don't have a scale, so I've been using the body fat calculator and the fit of my clothes to measure my progress. I started out at 47% body fat, and am now at 38% body fat, and wearing clothing that I haven't been able to wear in years. In addition, I have been doing strength training, yoga and cardiovascular exercise several times each week and can now see the beginnings of definition on my biceps, quads, calves and abs. My butt looks like I got a tushy lift, too. :D

I love my new lifestyle and the amazing way that I feel as a result of adopting it!
