ARNOLD! I just watched his movie Pump It Up from the 70's. At first I didn't think much about it, but since watching it I have been motivated to finish what I started (last Sept.) When he talked about how he looks in the mirror and checks for his symmetry and if he's off a litlle he'll work at it. I thought about that deeper...he's like his own engineer. He's creating the body he wants. Chiseling it a little everyday. As I continued watching Lou (the guy who played the Hulk) work HARD to try to be better than Arnold, another amazing thing changed my thinking. I always gave up on myself thinking I couln't be as good as _____, so why try? I always gave myself an excuse not to try harder. He didn't think like that. He did everything he could to be as good or better than Arnold. In the end, he didn't beat Arnold, but he said, "I'll try again next year." I was so impressed with that. I'm now on day 5 of working towards becoming my best. I'm not quitting anymore! I needed that inspiration!

Who inspires me the most? That's easy...MYSELF! I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I went on my first diet when I was in the 5th grade! A year ago I knew it was time to put myself and my goals first and I did just that. I'm 75lbs lighter and 100% happier! I amaze myself. I am so proud of the things I am accomplishing. I'm lifting weights, boxing, spinning and training for my first marathon! There's nothing I can't do. I'm proud to say that I never counted a calorie or a point I did this all through clean eating and hard work. The women who submit their profile that are featured towards the back of Oxygen each month. It is really inspiring to see normal non-fitness-model women in such great shape!
