I first worked out with a trainer about 4 years ago. I ended up participating in Boot Camp recommended by my trainer. Unfortunately, I hurt my foot (plantar fascitias) and suffered a setback. A year and half ago I tried a new trainer and wanted to lose about 15 pounds. I worked out for months with little result. After discovering Clean Eating last May I now know why! I didn't eat clean. Although the trainer tried to emphasize nutrition I wasn't listening then. With clean-eating I have dropped 20 pounds and feel great. I almost want to return to the trainer for maximum results now that I cleaned up my diet.

I have worked out with a trainer off and most recently on for the past 6 years. It has made a huge difference in my intensity and commitment level. Trainers are great motivators and no one knows how to push you safely more. I have been working out with my current trainer for the second time since June and am in love with the results. We meet twice a week and he helps me plan my other days including active rest. A good trainer is worth his/her weight in gold!

i have been working with a trainer for about a month now and she is fantastic.
She motivates, pushes, encourages and rewards me. She's no nonsense and that 's just what I was looking for. We've been training for the CN Tower Climb in Toronto, Ontario and just last week told me she wants to train for a Triathlon next. So happy she is in tune with my goals.

Changed my life!!! I began working with one in January 2007 - we clicked and she taught me so much, including about Clean Eating! 18 mos later, I reached goal weight, and just this last August she coached me to my first Figure Competition! A good trainer is worth every penny! She kept me moving in the right direction, accountable, and supported. I wouldn't be where I'm at without her! :-)

I hired a trainer in August 2009 and worked with him for about a year. My goal at that time was to look good while on the beaches of Tenerife (Spain) the following June. He pushed me each day and helped me stay focused on my goal, along with taking great care that the form was good. I reached my goal and looked great. I did go regularly after and lasted about 6 months doing variations of the same program. But after this Xmas I totally fell of the wagon and have not been able to get the focus and will power and I'm on the lookout for a trainer that suits me. Too bad my old trainer works at another gym.

I have worked with a trainer in the past. He was AWESOME! I had been away and staying in a hotel for 3 weeks for work. I knew I was going to need help with jump starting my routine when I came home. Luckily I didn't backslide much while I was away and having the trainer there to push me when I got home lead to my best results EVER! I still do some of the trainer's workouts. Unfortunately he left our gym and I have no idea where he went. Over all, it was a good experience.

I started working with a trainer once a week back in the beginning of 2011. It was the best decision I ever made. I needed someone to hold me accountable and push me to get where I am going. I have lost over 40 lbs and have muscles I haven't ever seen before. I give credit to people that are able to work out on their own but this was huge for me. I just wish I would have done it sooner!!

I did great when I had a personal trainer. I learned that I could push myself so much further than I had believed. When I ran out of sessions, I ran out of will power too though. Have sinced put back on ALL of the weight I lost - plus more. I am now at my heaviest and need to find a way to push myself the way my trainer used to. Wish I could afford more sessions but alas I must find my own inner strength.
