Today I woke up early and started my hump day with a 5am workout. It gave me just the energy I needed to get me through the day.

I usually cook on the hump day. Then I do eat badly when I get busy at the end of the week. We have been snow bound so I loaded up on clean muffins for the freezer and cut what feels like thousand of veggies in serving size containers so they are easy to grab for snacks. Raw peas are my favorite. I roasted a chicken for dinner and will make a soup base for the freezer from the bones. I saved all of the veggie scraps like the celery leaves, etc., for the soup base. Then I just strain it and toss everything.

Today I woke up early before class and buzzed to the wellness center for a fat-burning elliptical work out! I sipped a protein shake on my way back and was ready and full of energy to take on my day :)

Music is always a mood-lifter for me, but honestly, after my knee surgery I'm just so excited to be back in the gym that I'm not having a hump-day-slump! :-)

the weather here has been so wet and dreary that it is pleasureable to be in the gym where you cant see outside, and its hot . Our pool area is quite tropical with palm trees and it makes me feel im somewhere hot

I have a weekly schedule that I stick to each week. The one thing that is keeping me motivated right now is our trip to Mexico in 3 weeks. I will have to come up with another motivation/goal once I get back. I am bound and determined to see this fat in my midsection dissapear.

My workouts make me feel better! I look forward to my mid-week workouts for an extra boost... And I know that there are only 2 more scheduled workouts until the weekend and then it is time for some very necessary fun, and chill time!

Hello, I'm from Australia where most days are 'hump days' - very much the norm during the hot and humid weather we're experiencing here at present! I have a checklist system I use which gets me going and motivates me when I see how many boxes I've ticked for each of the categories I've written down. As the week progresses I become more motivated and determined to do even better. Early mornings suit me better to exercise during hot weather but I do sometimes have to exercise in the hot afternoon if this isn't possible.
