Hey Everyone! I am a 25-year-old former Toowoomba woman, a Year 1 teacher at St Bernard's Catholic School in Brisbane, joined the Ashy Bines Bikini Body Challenge back in April.
I did it because I wanted to feel more confident in my own skin after struggling with low body self-esteem for most of my teenage years, continuing into my young adult life.

To me "It was never about losing weight,"
"It was about changing my diet and eating clean.
"As soon as I started it, I felt so much better. I think everyone can see how I feel on the inside too."
I toned up by following the Ashy Bines clean eating plan and exercise plan.
"It was so easy."
Now in the best shape of my life and glowing with confidence, Ientered the Ashy Bines Best Physical Transformation competition and is going head-to-head with women from all over Australia.

Ever since reading The Eat Clean Diet Recharged, I see a skull and crossbones every time I look at sugary snacks. I literally imagine a war being waged inside my body every time I eat sugar. This new mindset makes it pretty easy to skip all those treats.

I keep repeating to myself 'you can't out-train a bad diet'. Sound familiar? It's so true and that little chcolate bar is just not worth it. You can't out-train a bad diet.

Halloween is my favourite holiday but its a very new thing in New Zealand so they don't have a lot of wrapped things....cringe...healthy or unhealthy! But my favourite funky stationary store SMIGGLE has really fun pencils and erasers and I will be giving those out. Last year we didn't have any trick or treaters...but I will buy 20 of each...I can always use them if nobody comes:) also bulk packs of stickers - each get a sheet! :) to my fellow Americans....enjoy the best day of the year for me!

No candy in the house! Number one rule!!

I will also be making a CLEAN recipe that will satisfy the sweet tooth, but is packed with protein and good carbs, so I am ready to go!

I've decided not to give candy this year, but to give out glow sticks and bracelets. Cooler than pencils ;-) If I keep it out of my house then I'm good! I'm also looking up clean recipes to bring to the Halloween parties and making sure that I have my snacks and food available.

Going into the stores all I see is costumes and candy. I put on my blinders and walk real fast past these isles or take another route around it.

I am hoping to find the candy too sweet. I have cut out sugar for 2 months, and other treats I would have previously inhaled are now so so sweet! I also find myself spitting them out. Another good deterrent is how I feel since striking sugar. No lore sugar blues!

I live out in the country where they aren't any children, so we don't buy any candy. Since cutting out sugars I actually can not stand the taste of candies - the other day someone gave me a miny cookies & cream chocolate - which use to be one of my favority....I resisted for awhile and thought 'I've been good, one little one won't hurt' - so I took a bit and quickly spit it out - it was gross - way too sweet!!! So instead I grab one of my dark chocolate squares - and enjoyed it!!!!

Thankfully, I don't have a sweet tooth! It's the one thing in life I can stare in the face and not be tempted to have - candy. Thank goodness :-)
