It went great! My husband and I took turns cooking clean meals. Turkey meatloaf goes a long way. Lots of veggies. And salmon patties from a previous issue. I made the apple strudle from the current issue and it turned out better than I thought. Instead of raisens I put blueberries.
My biggest challenge right now is making sure I eat on time and not go to long in between meals.

I make the fat blasting cookies that was in Oxygen Mag (I think 2 months ago) and that is the only thing I have changed in my clean diet... and I have lost pounds and inches. It gets you over that sweet tooth and burns some calories. Also, I add a splash of skim milk, flaxseed and wheatgerm. Then make them in bars. Those are what gets me through my weekend and cravings. Sometimes I eat these for breakfast with fruit when I am in a pinch.

Wonderfully. We went ot our high school 46th reunion It was a picnic. We brought a wonderful cobb salad to share and a small sandwich each made on whole wheat english muffin. Water to drink and we had our healthy meal. In the morning we had meetings to go to and brought healthy snacks in baggies with us. I just think of my hero Jack Lalanne and think what he might do.

Kind of. I cooked all day Sunday. I made the lentil stew and it is fabulous. I also made the baked grains and these two items will keep me fed through the week. the grains will be great with fish this week and the stew will be great on its own. It takes no time to reheat a clean meal.

My second job I working at a banquet hall, they always offer us food and desserts on our break, I packed a healthy snack and dinner so I wouldn't be tempted. I also kept busy all weekend with work and didn't have 1 alcoholic drink :)

My only "non clean" consumption was a cocktail (a dirty gin martini) which I allow myself on Friday and Saturday evenings. However, I'm making that part of my plan, so beyond that, I ate clean 100% all weekend.

I stick to it because I know how many years I spent feeling loogy and basically yucky after eating non-clean foods. The past month of eating strictly clean has done so much for me physically that I don't want to eat any other way. I've lost about 10 pounds, and I have never felt better. You could put a bowl of chips and dip or a slice of chocolate cake in front of me and I'm still surprised that I have lost my taste for what was once my "favorite" foods - that's how bad I don't want to feel as bad as I had. So I guess feeling good is my motivation!

Yes, I did!! How I did it was sticking to the plan of every 3 hours small protein/complex carb meals with lots of water so I'm not hungry. It was the weekend and I did have my treats, but I kept the portion sizes small. Also a 5 mile run Saturday and a 9 mile bike ride Sunday helped. It's a lot easier to be disciplined on a work day, so I truly enjoyed some lax comfort food over the weekend, but I was still thrilled with the scale Monday morning!!!

Well, I am just starting out and I think I did pretty good, not completely clean but miles better than past weekends have been for me. But I have learned in a short time that baby steps are better sometimes. I am eating clean today, tomorrow is another day.
