For the most part, my husband has the "it's good for you, but not me" attitude about eating clean. 90% of the dinners are clean (the other 10% are things he likes, and I'll have a clean alternative). I would love him to eat clean 100% of the time, but he can't give up his Miracle Whip, white pasta and white bread. Blech!

My husband is definitely on board! He drinks a kale & fruit smoothie with me everyday. We are working to lower his blood pressure & weight. My children are already very good about eating a variety of healthy foods and are willing to try new things, especially fruits!

My local library has all of the books and cna get them for me if they are at another location.

A good friend of mine got interested in Eat Clean Diet and over a year lost a huge amount of weight! She looks terrific !!!!.. When i saw her in May (last) i looked at her and said to myself .. if this girl can do it .. i can do it! I saw her being happier and happier every day. Her mood was always at its best.. She was glowing and always thrilled at how wonderful she feels...

My friend gave me Tosca's book to read.. I was hooked once i read it! =))) I am not as good at following all the rules.. But i have noticed that when i don't eat clean i feel not good about myself =))))) Therefore.. i decided to do my best and follow the rules as much as possible.

I was 186 Lbs in May... Today i way about 165! NOT BAD i think... =))) I know its only 20lbs.. But i remember i was this thin in 11th grade =))...

I am so grateful to my friend who introduced me to Eat Clean Life style

I have to say some of my family and friends like the idea but others think I am crazy. But the other day my 9 year old son and I were shopping at Sams club and it was lunch time so we decided to get pizza ...maybe not the best thing for lunch ..they have a pizza combo and so my son asked the lady what was a pizza combo and she said a piece of pizza with a soda ...I asked him if that was what he wanted and he told me no because we don't drink soda anymore and we needed to share a bottle of water. That made all of this worth it even if no one else gets it my son understands the importance of good food choices.

I have been eating clean now since a week before Thanksgiving! My husband has been trying every new recipe that I make. I am happy to say that eating clean has been a great experience thus far. I no longer crave sugar - it is a legal cocaine! I made the roasted root vegetable soup Sunday and it was delicious - it makes a whole lot so I have some in the freezer. My other favorite are the sweet potato fries. My husband loves the cleaning eating lifestyle - more new recipes. I am traveling to Virginia to be with my daughter for Christmas and we are going to make some "clean" holiday treats. Thank you for a great lifestyle - who knew - dieting is the evil word - clean eating all the way!

When I brought home the Eat Clean Diet book my husband just sorta groaned and gave me the...."Really, a diet book?" look. I subscribed to the Eat Clean Magazine immediately and would leave it lying around the house. Then I pulled a bunch of the pictures out of the Eat Clean Cookbook and would leave those lying around. Nothing is as motivating to my husband as pictures of awesome food. Now, I have to fight him to get the magazine. He even reads my Oxygen now......I used to think it was for the models until he found a stash of recipes he had clipped out and stuck in a binder :)

Many of my friends and family members has gotten on board without much fanfare. if I make something for work or family they may notice it is not super sweet or salty but usually they think it is great. i made a clean peanut and pumpkin dip and brought in apple slices and everyone loved it. I made the upside down apple ginger coffee cake and my friends thought it was awesome.

I didn't tell people what I did to modify the recipe I just made the change and let them taste how good their food could be.

I recently made a trip to Ontario to visit my family. I had only recently discovered the Eat Clean Diet and was telling anyone and everyone about this wonderful new way I was getting healthy. One of our shopping trips were to Costco to stock up on clean foods and while there we found the Clean Eating Cookbooks. My cousin and I each purchased one. Later that week my Aunt went to Costco with her friend because she wanted to buy the cookbook for herself. She showed her friend and her friend bought one as well. While looking at the books and talking about it in the parking lot they gained the interest of a couple walking by. My Aunt told them about her niece (that would b me :) who was visiting and converting the whole family to Eating Clean. They showed the couple the cookbooks and the couple told them they were going in to buy their own copies.

I have a question about coconut oil. In the latest clean eating magazine, the recipe for Pecan and Cran Holiday Cookies uses coconut oil. I am assuming I need to melt the jar before I can use it and I was also wondering what should I buy? Also, in the January Oxygen, Tosca has an article about coconut oil as a supplement. What grade oil should I buy for this and can I use the same for cooking and supplement?

Yes, they have and it has changed our lives! At first they were not thrilled with the idea, but they didn't have a choice if that was what was for dinner. The hardest part for my 16 year old daughter what the "white bread", but I just stopped buying it. She would go out and buy it herself, but that did not last long. :-) It really caught on fast with my son who is a PT. They now ask for certain clean meals and are excited to try new ones, a year strong!
We are working on changing our clientele's way of eating at our gym.
We have Oxygen Magazines and Clean Eating Magazines at our reception area and I know several have gone out and purchased your books as well. It's so wonderful to see the "light bulb go on" when you tell them what they should and should not be eating and they borrow the magazines and come back with stories of "I had no idea". One-at-a-time, my goal, to get them all Clean!
