Classic Bon Jovi is always a good one for me when I am on the elliptical or treadmill. When I am doing weights, I listen to all kinds of music.

I bore easily, so like my workouts, my playlist changes often. I'm eclectic, so I often have driving rock songs mixed with cool classics and newer top 40's. Linkin Park, Saliva, Stereo MC's, Bad Company, Ke$sha, it's all there :-)
Here's my list of playlists...

I love to do stand up crunches to Jill Scott's "Hate On Me, Hater". It's a fierce song. Jill sings that song like she's been through what I've been through. It's also a song that reminds me to not be a hater myself but to revel (instead of rival) in all of us women. Don't hate! Just be great! Turn jealousy into pride. Stop complaining, gossiping, and cliche-ing! Just start moving--And get yourself together!! This is a tough love message from a REAL friend.

Love ya, Ladies

I absolutely love the Black Eyed Peas. No matter what song, they always seem to get me into the work out groove. I have learned to love the fast pased latin grooves now that I teach Zumba!

I used to listen to only hip hop and dance music but then a friend shared her "secret" to her marathon runs....more relaxing music to keep her lungs working evenly and not get into the "go quick" phase. When doing bootcamp I keep it to the fast paced dance music but when doing a jog/keeping it slower has helped!!!! Now for Zumba....hard hitting dance/latin music is the only way to go.

Any type of hip hop or rap. I also love trance music which has some really interesting sounds and great for HIIT.

I love to listen to music when I work out. I have two separate playlists made deoending on my mood. One of my favourites is a mixup of the top 25 songs of 2009 by DJ Earworm. It really gets me moving.
