During the summer life is crazy... most days I am up at 4:45 to either get myself to the gym for a workout or to get to my boot camp that I own. If it's for my own workouts, I start the day with a protein pancake (whey, oatmeal, cinnamon and egg whites) and then I get out the door by 5:15. On non-workout mornings I eat scrambled eggs with a piece of fruit or something.

No matter what though I eat within 30 minutes of waking up, it's a habit I have had since I was a little kid.

To help get finished fastest, I set out everything the night before... clothes, gym bag, my lunch and snacks are ready in the fridge so I don't have to prep anything at early.

On workout days I wake up at 5:45 am down in the gym (in my building) or out the door for a run by 6 am. I finish up by 6:45 am, shower, frantically pack my lunch and snacks, make coffee for the road and I'm out the door. I usually eat breakfast at work or on the way to work if it's portable.

My best time-saving tip is to not let yourself be distracted by TV or the internet - especially the internet. You could also make your lunch and set out an outfit the night before - but I just wish I did that.

Right now, my mornings are pretty leisurely. My daughter & I wake up around 8 or so, eat breakfast & go for a walk.

I'm pretty sure once my mat leave is over, my morning will be a mad rush of waking up, eating breakfast, waking up my daughter & rushing her to daycare. When I go back to work, I plan on making the muesli recipes during the week, so I can quickly grab breakfast & will also be spending my evenings packing my lunch & prepping dinner for the following day, so that I no longer have to do that in the morning before work.

Seems like I am always waiting for something so that I can "start" I am not sure why. Probably because I don't want to fail yet another diet/lifestyle change.

One thing I know I need to do is to work on my husband, to stop bringing home "goodies" it doesn't help.

I weight 362 lbs. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I start today!

It's all about preparation. The night before i have my cooler items packed so i just put them in my cooler bag. Even my green tea sachet is in my mug! I premake whatever i can regarding my first meal and leave it in the fridge.
I also lay out my clothes, etc the night before. I wake at 3:50 am and work out for an hour/hour an a half from 4:30am.

I've just joined and have never made a smoothie with my "new" Magic Bullet"
But am very impressed by your setting out frozen berries etc. on previous night.
How do you make the smoothie in the Bullet?
And do you have varriations?
Can I make smoothies the night before and store in fridge?
Thanks & pardon my dumb questions

My time-saving tips for the AM:
- I freeze berries from the farmer's market. I put them in my smoothie cup the night before and keep it in the fridge. They are thawed and ready for my morning smoothie when I wake up.
- All of my lunches and snacks for the week were made on Sat or Sun so I just grab them from the fridge.
- My clothes are picked out the night before.
- Pony tails and hairclips are a late girl's best friend!

Each AM is a little different but usually consists of a 3:40 am wake-up call to send my @Daily_Dose healthy tip message on Twitter, then start my workout. I lay my clothes, water, and everything out the night before so even if I am sleep-walking I am doing cardio by 4:00! I start my workout at home and then meet my trainer from 5-6 at the gym. Then home to get the mad-dash of waking up my kiddo and hubby, shower, eat some egg whites on toast, make some coffee, get the lunches (pre-made and packaged in the fridge on Sunday of course) and backpacks loaded in the car, yell at everyone that the car is started and leaving in five minutes :), and *whew!* we're off. Time saving tips for me: lay out everything the night before, including workout AND work clothes, make and package meals for the week on Sunday, and set a clock radio alarm to play soft music in your kid's room about 20 minutes before you get home from the gym to get a head-start on the sleepy-head-wake-up process! :)

• Sunday night I pack my gym bag and swimming bag, which I fill with all I need for the week, bring those on Monday morning.
• I shower at night, saving time in the morning.
• The night before - soak my oats, chia seeds and almonds together in water, add the frozen blueberries/ raspberries, place plate overtop and leave on counter overnight to thaw/soak.
• Meanwhile, lunches were all packed up from last night's dinner for kids and me.
• 5:30 am wake up
• I don't lay my clothes out the night before, but normally think about what I'll wear while drifting off to sleep so it doesn't take long.
• Let / take dog out, feed cats and fish, let cats out, let dog in, feed dog.
• Make tea
• Wake son #1 up, make sure he's actually awake (his bus comes at 6:45)
• Pack lunches, wash fruit, make salad while eating breakfast and drinking tea (I know -- no time to sit down)
• Fill water bottles for day plus make tea for the road
• Brush teeth / put on makeup and run out the door, late, by 6:25 or so.
• Pick up co-worker and call son #2 from cell to get him up.
• Get to work for 7.30
