Corny as it is, when I feel like the only person at work eating clean & exercising I think of the Eat Clean community. I think of all of you ladies juggling work, family & exercise & I feel like I have a whole community of you out there around the world doing this with me. You really do inspire me to eat clean. If I am in a bad mood I think of all the people who ever gave me a hard time about being me, & I use them as inspiration to train harder that session!

It started out a tough day-even cancelled an early morning workout with a friend. Thought I would add insult to injury with a visit to the scale - it had been awhile! I was down 10 lbs!!
So planning an afternoon strength conditioning class - figure I have choices everyday to turn it around, so here is to positive choices!!

You'll feel better after a run (or any excersie) than you will after eating a carton of ice cream!

"You've been provided with a perfect body to house your soul for a few brief moments in eternity. So regardless of its size, shape, color, or any imagined infirmities, you can honor the temple that houses you by eating healthfully, exercising, listening to your body's needs, and treating it with dignity and love." - Dr. Wayne Dyer

I have a Happy File I keep cards, letters, photos and momentos friends and family have given to me. Whenever I'm having a day of feeling sad or things are just not going my way, I dig around in that file a read some encouraging notes for an instant pick up. Many of these cards were given to me from some of my previous students; it's so nice to read how I may have helped them through a difficult time, and now they are helping me too!
