My father is the one person who has truly inspired me to maintain my healthy lifestyle. He went through stage 3 colon cancer almost 10 years ago--dying twice on the operating table, and muscle wasting to the point where he could not walk--to being in complete remission since then. He made several changes in his health habits after the cancer, yet still suffered a brain hemorrhage due to genetically-based high blood pressure this past July. Even after all of this, he came back a stronger individual who now is working in physical therapy to get his full balance back in record time. His will, strength, determination, and drive inspire me to put everything I have into my clean eating choices and exercise routine. At the age of 61, he is living his healthiest lifestyle ever because he truly understands the value of getting not only a second, but a THIRD chance!

When I began my weight loss journey last September I had no clear plan for how I was going to eat or exercise. I joined a gym and floundered around with my diet for the first month or so until I found Tosca's books.
