I will be exploring my new gym and the amazing classes it has to offer! Spinning, kickboxing, yoga, swimming... so many choices and I'm excited! Let's see if I can get out of bed at 430am to get a workout in before work!

I'm going to be spending some time up by Silver Lake Sand Dunes (Michigan), blueberry picking-need to stock the freezer for the winter, and relaxing & hanging out with friends and family.
Planning my eat clean menus for those first few weeks of school when it gets crazy after school and work.

I will be spending part of it in the hospital having my gallbladder out! I have already talked to my doctor about my diet and will pack my cooler because he will keep me overnight. Have also requested he use lactated ringers instead of glucose (D5W) in my IV's. He told me to remind the nurses before surgery! I will probably be a difficult patient because I won't let that nasty sugar near me or even in my body. I will also be caring for my husband who survived a 25 foot fall on Saturday and is in pretty bad shape, not walking on his own yet, we will be the walking (or shuffling with a crutch) wounded the next few days but we will be CLEAN.

I agree with another girl here, what if you are on a tight budget for the time being? What are the basic foods you should stock up on and best ways to make your budget stretch but still eat clean?

I finally got my husband to join in on the Eating Clean. We cleaned up our weight/exercise room yesterday and have decided to get fit. I have been eating clean for awhile now, and own a dance studio, so I dance 5 nights a week, plus zumba every saturday. I am 41 now and my husband is 40, so we are back on the exercise train. My daughter went off to college and now it is just us two. Plenty of time to get fit!

I am spending the end of summer by starting to eat clean and stop smoking. I just bought the Eat Clean Recharged book and Recipe book yesterday and started reading immediately. I am pretty un-educated when it comes to food, food prep and the right way to eat. Just by the little bit of the book that i read last night i already feel like i've learned something. With football season starting this weekend (woohoo!) it will be a challenge to both eat clean and stop smoking, but i have the full support of my husband, who by default will be eating clean with me:)

Well it has been a crazy busy summer with kids and grand kids coming and going and taking vacations. I am ready for some new things for the fall to begin. Right now I am busy training for 3 fall 1/2 Marathons, October, November and December. I have been sorting through my clothes getting rid of things that do not fit any more or things that I hate to ware and getting my closet all ready for my fall and winter clothes. I have been doing a little extra cooking and filling my freezer with meals I can just heat up on my busy days. I also have about 5 books going at once. I am looking for a treadmill so I can keep up my running when the time and weather change and make it difficult for me to get outside.

I'm frantically freezing berries still. DH came home with a beautiful batch of fresh garden strawberries so froze those. our blackberries are finally ready.. and i got a late 10 lb box of organic blueberries bagged and frozen. they are new to the list of high pesticides so switched over to organic there. yummy!!!

I am spending the end of August reading the Eat Clean Diet Recharged! I live in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and there are some things in the eat clean diet that are not available to me. For example, the flours in the Power flour, keifer. I want to begin to eat clean but I am not sure if this is the only book that I need and if this will be too expensive. Is there anyone out there with advice for me that lives in my area and eats clean?

I'm a college professor so school begins next week for me. I am busier than ever getting ready for students and getting my household ready for school, too. This week will be spent practicing bringing my cooler into work with me, enjoying cycling in on crisp cool days and getting used to a new, healthier routine.

I'm spending my last days of summer finishing reading "Eat Clean Diet Recharged!" During a garage sale I had with my daughters this past week end I found a great brand new collapsible cooler with built in speakers that my daughter had won at work and never used. It going to work great for carrying my clean fuel on the back of my bike.

I'm also going to be learning more about shopping for clean food. I am also going to order the Eat Clean Diet Cookbook tomorrow when I get paid.

Yep, my last summer days are going to be like none other for me. These last summer days are all about getting myself ready for me.
