Doing my best. My husband is old school meat and potatoes guy and resistant to new or different ingredients like flaxseed or buckwheat. He will try anything, but calls a lot of my meals "Hippy Food" and my daughter picks up on his less than positive response. But, generally, we all eat pretty good since I mostly buy and prepare clean meals. I have incorporated whole grain bread, pasta, rice, etc. and try to make sauces, etc. from scratch rather than buying pre-packaged processed crap. Sometimes I sneak in pureed fruits and veggies into recipes to get a little more vitamins in there. And I always have lots of fresh fruit and veggies around; cut up and ready to eat. I make sure my kiddo (she's 4) has a fruit or veggie with every meal or snack. We're all definitely eating healthier than just 2 years ago!

Without the family knowing, yes they are Eating Clean. I have slowly stopped buying their snacks and making more healthy ones at home via the Eat Clean Cookbook. Plus we don't eat out very much anymore due to much of a slow cooker being used alot. Shhhhhh Don't tell them.

i have been eating clean for over a year now and i am starting to see some small changes in my husband's choices (we live alone). he now uses a whole grain bread, i haven't seen a loaf of plain old white in a long time now... he just started drinking water with a lemon wedge and is trying to drink less pop, he is eating more fruit than chips, and he even tried some fish the other night and enjoyed it!!! i have not been harping or preaching so i am thrilled to see these small yet significant changes in his habits..my daughters are always sharing information with me about healthy information or snacks they have discovered...and are well aware of the changes i have made and respect them... it is great!

I just went full force into clean eating with my 20 month old daughter and my 9 year old daughter. I even called the 9 year olds teacher to make sure she could have a 10:00 a.m. snack. She says she feels really good after only 3 days! I just have to work on always planning, that's the hardest part but I think that will become second nature pretty soon. Wish us luck!
