If I am staying with someone, I will make sure I have my own supply of food on hand and keep on track by trying not to indulge too much on snacks and alcohol (which is especially tough in summer!). If I am in a hotel, I ensure I have clean snacks on hand that I can carry with me and you are never far away from a store where you can buy clean food and when eating out, I stick to healthy salad full of great stuff and lots of protein! I give myself one cheat meal each week (not a whole day!) and the same thing goes on holidays. I make sure to also keep active so I always travel with my interval timer and skipping rope.

The biggest problem people have with eating healthy is that there is a time and a place....Meaning, when no one is around and you are digging in your cupboards for treats and stuff them in hoping no one notices. And then you go out to dinner with friends or a home cooked meal and dessert have been prepared for you and you decline......That's silly but people do it all the time...EAT CLEAN all of the time and afford yourself the luxury of having whatever you want when on holidays or special occasions..

The biggest thing is, like always, to plan ahead. You know basically what you're doing, you know what the challenges will be. What I do specifically depends on the holiday itself -- are we staying in a hotel? Are we camping? But regardless I bring Clean food, plan for how I'm going to get Clean food, fit in exercise and also fit in a treat.
