I just ask them how they feel, and usually they don't feel great. I tell them how i feel, how I feel after meals and how much energy i get when I eat clean - positivity usually creates a positive reaction. I also get MANY of my clients - who are making life changes - to google the Eat Clean Diet. I go to great lengths to explain that it is not a diet per se, but rather a choice to choose a healthier way forward.

it is strange that we have to justify making better choices for our bodies isn't it! I just say it isn't a hardship or a chore it is how i choose to treat myself... with love and care...

I don't run into that much resistance. I do get the odd look and some questions from time to time. I answer them and move on. I don't try to get every one to eat like I do, I just focus on how great I feel when I eat clean vs how lousy I feel when I eat the SAD (Standard American Diet).

I have decided to not have people in my life who might give me hard time regarding clean eating. Besides, most people see how fit I am & usually are complimentary regarding my choices. I also don't tend to talk about it a lot to my day job co-workers. At night I work in a gym, so I am surrounded by fellow CE'ers there. I have been vegetarian for 12 years now, so my family are used to my "funny" eating habits, so they are fully supportive. My husband is also fully supportive & actually comments how much he dislikes it if we ever eat junk as cheat meals.
