Keeping all the healthy foods in the house Is a real challenge! Eating clean is contagious and my two boys and husband eat all the veggies and protein. Sometimes I struggle to keep them in the frig. I realize this is a good challenge but all in all it is still hard to do. I rather refill the vegetable bin 5 times a week ra then refilling the kitchen with process food and sweets!

I would say planning and sticking to the plan! Also getting my family on board with the changes especially around dinner time. Making different meals is tiring and time consuming.

This is my second round of starting the Eat Clean Diet and I still struggle with planning and preparing my food. When I started this back in February, I lost 15 pounds in about 3 months. Now I am starting again and have been for about 2 weeks. Food planning and prep.

I hardly eat out anymore but I find it challenging to go out to eat and order a healthy meal when places can't accommodate to my needs. Also with little ones who like doing fun things like making cookies and eating s'mores. Being healthy is so important, but making s'mores by the fire creates awesome memories. :0)

The most challenging part for me is not drinking Sugar! I love orange juice and especially Fall Apple Cider. I'll need to add more citrus juice to my water to help me get past that. Another particulary difficult thing for me is when my eating cycle doesn't match that of my family. If I had my 4pm meal at the office and am ready to go workout after work it doesn't help that the rest of my family is starving and wants to sit down for a big meal. I'll have to be more diligent getting them to eat a protien/complex carb snack after school so they won't feel like that! And, lastly, teenagers that love sugar and fat can really derail my motivation and will power when they ask to go to Starbucks, Bill Grays, Friendlys, etc., etc.!

Being prepared. I don't seem to like making a menu for a week. It's easier if I just have the right foods and pick something for that meal. The problem is making sure that I have everything available so I don't end up with nothing to eat. I just have to take the time to get it done.

My biggest challenge is family members who oppose making changes. They do not want to do this, and since it is other adults I deal with, sometimes trying to get them to understand that this is a good thing is like trying to pull teeth from a pig. One of them is eating gluten free, which I do not do and the others just want to eat out 90% of the time. This IS easy on my budget so I don't eat out a lot now and they sometimes get upset.

The hardest thing for me is being at work. Evil food is everywhere! Doughnuts, candy, cookies, chips, sodas, you name it and it's at my work. Also, eating clean does get expensive. It is so sad that to eat good clean food that you prepare yourself costs more than the fast food or manufactured option.
