I love getting up int eh morning, and doing a home work-out before going to work. When I get home, my husband and I take our dogs for a 45 min walk (we just ot a new puppy so its nice to tire her out a little before she comes inside!)

I don't have a lot of time on my hands, because I have to study all summer long, so I don't really go out, but I try to work-out following the youtube videos: 8 minute buns, abs, arms & legs. I find them very efficient even though the videos are really old.

Summer is the best time of year. Mountain biking with my family, badminton in the back yard, running the trails...even though I'm afraid of bears! Swimming and hiking too. Great family fun.

Lots of running, walking & hitting the gym. The longer, warmer days make it so easy to stay motivated, plus there's body-baring clothes to keep you honest!

For me summer is the easiest time to be active. Walks after dinner, playing at the playground with my kids, swimming and jogging.I love to take my workouts outside and change it up!

I like to go for walks in my neighborhood. There is a park with a playground for the kids to enjoy. I do laps while they play. We walk to the library and local area stores.

I love to run, but in the summer I step it up a notch with lots of biking and swimming! I love to cap off the season with a triathalon!

Living fairly close to the beach here in southern California, it's easy to stay active in the summer! Our beach front has a Farmers Market every friday, and we love to ride our bikes down there and buy fresh produce that we do not have already growing in our back yard garden. I love to utilize the beach in order to keep fit: I walk, jog, run, and work out on the beach. I also love to read and relax at the beach! I take my clean food cooler and my water, and always have it accessible. It's a cheap, fun, and beautiful way to stay active during the summer months! And the best part about it is that it's free, and the whole family can go together!

My favourite way to stay active in the summer is to take it outside and mix it up as many ways as possible. As a mother of three children; 7, 4, and 4 months, we have to get creative to appeal to everyone and incorporate the entire family. One of our favourite things to do is to take a brisk evening walk. My 7 year old rides her bike while Daddy pushes the stroller with my 4 year old hopping in and out at his own pace. I take the baby in the front facing baby carrier (almost 17 lbs phew). Our street is comprised of up and down hills and we walk a good 45 minutes. My husband and I take turns with our watch that measures our heart rates. We all get outside and get a chance to poop the kids out before bedtime. Simple, fun, and effective!
