I have been eating clean for over a year; few slip ups here and there; but have leaned out out and feel great. I would like to loose about 5 more pounds. with that being said, i get up early, chug a 25 ounces of water first thing in the morning, followed by a fat burner supplement and cup of coffee. I do 60 minutes of cardio on an empty stomach, followed by breakfast of a cup of cooked oatmeal, scoop of protein powder, and a banana or berries. I am then hungry every couple of hours all morning. Is it the cardio on an empty stomach? too much caffeine in the morning? any suggestions? I find myself reaching for a bowl of cereal (clean-but still more carbs then i want) any suggestions out there or is it all in my head? I work from home, so easy to grab snacks also. I look forward to hearing anyones feedback or suggestions

Could someone tell me what hummus is classified as? Protein or complex carb? Thank you. Since beginning Tosca's clean eating I have lost four pounds in three weeks and have tried so many others and this is the healthiest and easy for me. I love it.

When you were just starting out and learning how to eat clean for your body how did you manage to find the time? I assume you had a job, you had kids, maintain a house. I find I get so overwhelmed with the time it takes to organize my clean eating and exercising. How do I stay on track when I feel like I can't do everything?
Thanks for asking Tosca!

Where has your book been for the last 30 years of my life??? I made a New Years Resolution to lose weight for my 20th wedding anniversary (June 8th). In the month of January I lost 5 pounds. Then I started talking with one of the teachers at school and she gave me a copy of your Eat Clean Diet Book. On February 5th I started a whole new way of life. I joined the challenge and I am proud to say that as of this date I have already lost 32 pounds. Thanks so much Tosca for the new outlook on life!!!!!

Why do some women get stretch marks and others don't? I have 2 beautiful daughters who I adore but both pregnancies took a toll on my body especially my stomach! No more bikini for me! How did you have 3 lovely daughters and come out stretch mark free?

My whole family is starting this Eat Clean Life style. How do I make this more enjoyable for my kids? They think this is going to be torture. (They are 14, 12, 9, & 5) We all take a sack lunch daily and noone has the ability to heat up food. What would you recomend for lunches and drinks for the kids? Thank you & God Bless.

I have recently started eating clean (1 week ago) I am working with a trainer and a fitness interventionist.
How far do I delve into my personal life with the interventionist and what do you feel is the perimeters on motivation by her ?
I am uncomfortable with the marital probing and the family probing.
I was sick and put on a lot of weight and now I have to figure it out, Why do I have to put blame on others?

I am 38 yrs old mother of three girls who were very big for my petite body frame. I was 130 when I started but I am 119 now. I'm exercising and eating clean but I wonder even after three kids can your abdomen look pretty. Mine is all flabby and disgusting since my kids were close to 9 lbs. I am really trying but is there any good exercising for toning up that area and will I ever see a set of nice abs. Thank you Tosca. This is the first time I can follow a good exercise and eating regimen. I have seen lots of people but nobody motivated me until I saw you and read about you. From that moment I started and I haven't stop. You are my mentor. Thank you!

Would you please put out a book strickly compiled with recipes only? I have quite a few of your books and a pretty good understanding of health and fitness, but would love a cook book for different ideas.

What is the best way to break a plateau? I have been eating clean since January and initially lost 25 pounds without issue but for the past month i have lost nearly nothing even after increasing my work out routines & working to drink more water. Any thoughts?

I'm 53 years old and am training for a half iron man aqua bike. I exercise on a daily basis, with one rest day, eat clean 95% of the time and try to get about 2000 calories in a 30% fat, 40% carbs and 30% protein ratio. But my weight and/or body fat composition not changing. In my training I am including 2 weight sessions and 1 cross training in addition to the swim/bikes that i need to do. Any suggestions? PS Love you! and your clean eatting!
