With 3 kids the summer is so busy with birthdays also. Just last weekend I had 3 parties to go to. Happy to say, that cake is no longer tempting for me!!! I usually offer to bring a nice big fruit salad, and spend the party socializing instead of eating!! If anyone insists I have a piece of cake, I get one to "split" with my four year old, but never have more than one bite.

Believe it or not, I am craving the unhealthy eats less and less! If I am the least bit tempted, I will ask a friend or my husband for one taste and that usually satisfies the craving (if any).

I had to deal with that exact thing yesterday but not at a wedding. I was at a funeral and it is sooo hard to eat clean when visiting with so many people.

I looked for a sandwich made on wholewheat bread and took only one small wedge(1/4 sandwich) and one sweet without icing. That way I had a taste and was able to be social with the people in town that were honouring this persons life.

Sharing is caring! Share a piece with someone is the best answer.

Not even tempted.
White flour and refined sugar isn't in my nutrition plan, so it's not a problem to avoid.

Willpower, willpower, willpower!! I usually cut one of the pre-sliced portions in half and share with someone. That way I only get a couple bites. Just enough to have a little taste! I usually do not like the icing since it is so sweet, but I love those fillings!
