I meditate while walking outside, go to yoga class and try to get some reading time in every day...

I read/listen to books in my car all the time on the topics I am interested in (health care, politics, nature, psychology, etc) ! I try to read the newspaper online every single day. I do a lot of journal writing and lots planning (eating 5 meals a day and switching your workout routine REQUIRES a lot of planning!)

I recently read 'One Small Step Can Change Your Life' and found it very, very mentally uplifting. By following the advice in the book, you look at tasks through a different part of your brain where things look like a snap to do by making a goal of doing 1 small thing a day in completing the bigger goal. You brain looks at a small task as being easy to do. I was able to clean out all of my kitchen cabinets starting out with doing something with 1 thing. It does begin to snowball because you start looking forward to the task.
