I raise the bar for myself by setting goals, staying on top of things, reminding myself every day that I am blessed in what I have in life, and remembering that my dreams are attainable if I work hard for them. I want to be the best person I can be, for myself and my family. And I always try to encourage others to do the same so they can feel great about life too.

I cut out the complaining. And that isn't easy sometimes. But I've learned (through my own experience and the experience of others) that it can almost always be worse. Being aware of every blessing is a motivator! It helps me reach my goals, keeps me happy, and I hope others around are brought up by that too. No one can be 'up' all the time, but I try very hard to see what's good before I focus on what's not.

I raise the bar for myself by setting goals and expecting higher standards for myself and picking myself up when I fall. I want to be better, do better, live better.

What a great question! I raise the bar in my own life by embracing change and trying new things, pushing myself to move outside of my comfort zone and challenging myself as much as I can. It's not always easy but wherever there is change there is growth in oneself and that is important!
