Since I workout 15 minutes after I roll out of bed, I don't have a pre-workout meal. I do drink 8-12 ounces of water. I have compared my performance after having a pre-workout meal, and there just isn't much difference. My post-workout meal is a super protein shake with whey isolate, soy milk, glutamine, strawberries, 1/2 banana, cinnamon, turmeric, and fresh spinach. Sometimes I add organic peanut butter on the weekends as a treat. I eat 4-6 meals a day, just not one before my morning workout.
