Lots of exercise equipment and gear around the entire house to remind you that you need to exercise. Squeeze it in, by telling yourself that you'll just do one thing for like 15-20 minutes, and then more than likely you will do it for much longer than that (or even more than one exercise, say cardio and strength training. Exercise becomes a habit and a way of life after a while. Pretty soon, you will wonder how you ever did without it, just like eating clean.

Also, to a lot of you don't watch t.v. while you exercise. Put your whole body, mind, and soul into it. Be present and accountable. Don't just do it as something you have to get through. Really concentrate on what it is your doing for your body as you do it, you will definitely get much more out of it this way!

There are a lot of little things I do throughout the day.. they may seem silly to an onlooker, but to me it's burning calories while doing mundane things. For example: Instead of sitting at my desk at work, I stand at a counter and do leg lifts, or calf excercies. While i'm cleaning my kitchen I put on music and move to the beat so to say :) My idea is to just keep moving, stand instead of sitting when possible. I also always make sure to park my car in the farthest spot in the when shopping, and leave my cart at the entrance and just carry my bags. I could really go on for hours.. but i'm sure you get the idea :)

I get workouts in about 5 days a week, but I have a few other tricks outside of the normal workout. When I'm running errands I park in the farthest parking spot from the entrance. Also, I'm trying to get up from the computer every 15-20 minutes or so and stretch or walk around a bit during the work day.

I run up the stairs at work instead of taking the elevator. I try and do balancing excercises when I'm at work. Of course I work out at the gym 4 days a week.

In addition to hitting the gym five days a week, I try to work in two good walks with the dog, and a bike ride with my kids after supper. That and weekend trips to the conservation area for a hike and Friday nights public swimming with the family means lots of extra calories burnt each week!

Like most, I lead a pretty busy life. I have a 45 minute lunch break at work and I go out for about 20-30 each day and have a good power walk to get me through the day. I love my walks.
