I suffered from SERIOUS analysis paralysis with regards to both food and exercise. Knowing too much but not actually adhering to any of it. This is simple and healthy and balanced! Three things that define me! (or atleast what I am trying to have define me....)

I want to stop participating in this American society of unhealthy quality of life. Sure, in America, we have an abundance of things to eat, but not necessarly an abundance of quality things to eat. I want to change that way of living, starting with myself. I've been heavy all my life, despite being active as a belly dancer, yoga practacinor, and tennis player. I'm approaching 45 and I'm tired of being out of control with my weight. My friend told me about this lifestyle and how the author started late in life and look at her now! Wow, I want that for me. I want to be in shape and healthy when I'm 50 and I definately don't want to contribute one penny to the health care industry because of poor food choices I've made in the past. So here I am, ready to Eat Clean!

My youngest son left for the Air Force and I decided if he was making changes in his life, so could I. I started back to the gym and changed my eating, smaller meals, no white flour, sugar, etc and lost some weight, but still had stubborn "fat" areas. I picked up a copy of Oxygen on the Air Force base while visiting my son and read an article by Tosca. I decided to buy the book and loved it! I've bought three of her cookbooks too! I have even shared the plan and book with my friends. I am 46 and found that it is possible to make changes and look good (again). Thanks Tosca, you've given me the tools to make positive changes in my life and body! Maybe someday I'll follow Tosca's lead and compete.

It was one month prior to my 40th birthday, and over the last two years the effects of aging had started to make changes to my body that I didnt like! I have always been pretty active and "watched" what I ate, but it wasnt enought anymore! I've never been overweight, but had gained 15 pounds from age 38 to almost 40! That had never happened to me except during pregnancy. I looked in the mirror one night and said "this is it", I am going to be a "Fabulous Forty" instead of accepting that its not possible. I picked up my first issue of Oxygen Magazine January 2010, and I still have every issue since. It changed my life. I read about you, Tosca Reno, and how you made those changes at 40! You gave me the determination I needed. The next thing I bought was your books. I Eat-Clean every day now. It has been 8 months and I have lost 14 pounds and gained several pounds of muscle I'm sure! I love the feeling of good health and feeling fit! My mother and grandmother had type 2 diabetes, so what better reason to change my diet now! I am a Registered Nurse with my school district and share daily the benefits of Eating Clean! I have had people ask me if I work for you or Oxygen, because those are the first two things I tell them to do! Buy your book and suscribe to the magazine! If I can do it at 40, they can do it any any age!

I wanted to make myself accountable, and find advise and support when I need it.
