Just get there!! Tell yourself you'll just go for 20 minutes! You'll probably find out that you stayed longer than you expected! There are times when I don't want to go too! But, when I make myself go, I'm always glad I pushed towards my goal. You can't expect change if you aren't willing to make a change. You can't sculpt a body by diet alone. It takes increased lean muscle to burn more fat and achieve muscular definition!

Peer Pressure! I work out in the morning with a group of friends. We help keep each other accountable! Plus we have a great time, which makes the early morning much more enjoyable!

Look at yourself naked in the mirror first thing in the morning that should be motivation enough. Well it is for me. :)

I was having a hard time commiting to the gym, the kids always need a drive here or there. For the past few weeks I printed the gym schedule, highlight the classes I'm taking and they plan around my class times! Put yourself first and commit to your schedule.

It works great!

You must clearly have your WHY! identified. If you don't clearly know why you want to get fit or be fit or lose weight then you are going to make it a priority. Your health and fitness must be a priority and it is non negotiable! For more tips check out my blog on this topic at www.pinkandstrong.com

Well if you are fortunate enough to find a dedicated workout partner that will help you get there if you have agreed on a time to meet, you won't want to let that person down.
Scheduling it into your calendar like any other appointment. Have a specific time set aside for working out.
Have pictures of the body you are trying to acheive around to see regularly to remind you what making it to the gym will achieve.
These are just a few of the ideas that work for me. And once you get into a routine it gets much easier to stick with, especially because when you are done you physically and emotionally feel so much better about yourself.
